Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. The State A G sent a letter to Buds and BUDS refunded my money.
Don't use a check for purchases. Only use credit card and be aware that this company has terrible customer service and has no respect for past customers.
I have an ongoing problem with an order for two handguns and an arrogant CSR, Carin or Karen.
Last week during a chat, I inquired about getting lower prices on two guns I ordered less than 24 hours earlier. The difference in one day was over $100. Carin said the guns I ordered were from the end of a batch, and the lower prices were for a new batch. I could not be given the lower prices for that reason. I was also told I would be charged 15% if I canceled the order. When I suggested I should contact my bank to stop payment, Carin unilaterally canceled the order and closed the chat session.
I attempted to have the order reinstated and was denied.
I asked for my money to be returned, and I was instructed to work through my bank to get my money returned.
I received an email from the BUDS shipping department stating, 'We have been notified by our ACH processor that your payment of $878.97 has been fully verified and has now been credited to our bank account. Our shipping department has been notified and your order is now cleared for shipping.'
I waited a number of days and contacted customer service to get status on this alleged canceled order. After several days, my inquiry was closed without any response by, you guessed it, Carin.
I need to talk to a grownup. I need a supervisor.
No, Carin disabled my ability to communicate via my open ticket. CLOWN SHOW

I'm a 100% disabled vet from the Nam era and require a service dog to help monitor my blood pressure and PTSD. I wanted to zero in a scope on a new AR-308 build, and my wife wanted some range time.
I renewed my annual range membership, and as I have done for over a year now, I put my service dog in with the range personnel behind the counter. As usual, it takes a moment for my service dog to settle down after I leave for the range. Today, an employee I've never run into before rudely told me to remove my dog. I dragged all my gear back to the truck.
Although unhappy about what transpired, I intended to go inside and sit until my wife completed her range session. I became really annoyed when the employee that asked me to remove my dog from behind the counter never returned to the counter. Gary was also behind the counter when the confrontation occurred; he saw me sitting, waiting for my wife, came over, and basically apologized. The whole time I was there, the employee that asked me to remove my dog never returned to the range counter.
At that point, I was totally irritated that no one tried to discuss a solution to how I could use the range. I decided to get a refund for the annual range fee, curious to see how it was received. Gary, a great guy, went to get help with the refund, and I'm guessing a supervisor and the employee that started the whole problem showed up. The supervisor just explained to me that they can't be responsible for my service dog.
I told him I never asked anyone to be responsible for my dog. When I explained I have done nothing different from every other time I came to use the range, he just voided my annual range fee. The employee that started the whole issue basically told me there are no other ranges around and good riddance, we don't need your business. I'm glad Bud's is doing so well they can chase customers away.
I will let my friends, and as a certified SIG armorer, I'll let my customers know about my experience. Good luck treating customers like dirt.

Ordered and paid for a shotgun on October 3. Promised it would be shipped within 3 to 7 business days.
On the eighth business day, I was told they don't know when it's going to ship. Don't deal with companies that take your money, make your promise, and can't deliver.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Its pending, but they gave a full refund, they didn't even subtract the 5% fee they usually charge.
I wish it hadn't come to this and they had treated me better. I had done business with them before and liked them, and now I'm not sure if I want to risk it again, which is a shame because they do have a lot of good deals.
The order was finally cancelled today. Nothing showing in my bank yet regarding a refund, but once it shows up I'll mark this as resolved.
Still, this was an absurd experience, and if I ever buy from them again, it'll be as a last resort only, and I'll be sure to keep records of everything.My understanding from reading from others: they are legitimate, but they just don't seem to care, departments don't seem to communicate well with each other, and incredibly long shipping delays seem to be common. It's a shame because the site would have a lot going for it if they simply didn't pull things like this.
I thought they were giving a refund...but nothing. So much for that.Damn thieves.
Update: After finally getting angry and leaving both a bad review for a product and asking them yet again for a refund, they're now finally doing so.That said, the damage has been done (its been 18 days since my order) so it's unlikely I will be doing any further buisness with Buds, I'll shop elsewhere.
I sent two refund requests with no response. I sent an email today asking again for a refund, again with no response.
This is the first time I've had an issue with them, but this is unacceptable. As far as I'm concerned, they stole my $50.

Reading your reviews so many customers have been taken by this corrupt company.
There are many honest companies around for others to use instead of Bud's Gun Shop. Hope everyone reads all the reviews here before buying anything from these frauds.
They charge the 10% cancellation fee on the total bill not just the product but also the sales tax and shipping, a bunch of CORRUPT THIEVES. When I mentioned I might contact my credit card company to dispute the charge they said now they will keep my product and money calling what I said a threat, spoke with customer service Kuyhna and supervisor Tony who is a total jerk when he said by disputing the charge I would get double the money and him being a supervisor really shows how bad Buds is as a company. When I said keep the 10% and just give me my money and I won't dispute but they refused since I already said I would.
This is called CONSUMER FRAUD!!
I have done all the steps shown for consumer fraud and everyone else who have been robbed by this company should also. Most bad reviews are covered by it, wrong product, not shipping, refusing to process a return or refund, SO FILE .

This was my first purchase at Bud's, an item over $600.00, and my car broke down. Being in the shop made it hard for me to borrow $600 on my layaway to pay, and I did not know that none of my credit or bank cards could be used when I was working out of state!
So, I'm asking for store credit of $988 which I paid on my cancelled layaway to purchase another item. I've written a negative review on Google about this Bud's experience and if it's not corrected, I will not take down the negative customer review. I will also stop any future purchases with Bud's store if this is not fixed. My hard-earned money has been taken from me, but I promise to contact the head of this company and keep telling people not to shop here if this is how they treat me on my first $1,589 purchase at Bud's.
I paid all I could on it and only owed $601.50 before August 15th. If this is not fixed, I'm going to spread the word in the 2A community at shows and at the NRA show to not shop at Bud's anymore. I will show them the stack of receipts where I had almost paid off, and then it was cancelled on me with no store credit issued on $988.00 paid to Bud's. I want a different firearm now at Bud's to correct this problem and fix the situation before I have to tell everyone in the 2A community to not shop here anymore.
If I could have had my car, I would have pawned $600 on my other firearms and paid you the $601.50 because I had purchased enough to have paid that if my car was not in the repair shop. If you fix this, then we can mend our business relationship. If not, you'll be enjoying my stolen $988 because this is going to end up costing you in bad reviews. I will start telling people to go to my other dealers who have made things right when things went wrong and salvaged the customer when issues arose with paying off a purchase.
I paid $25 to extend my layaway and I could have pulled out items from my safe to have paid you off yesterday if you could have given me just until Monday. I could have got a $600 pawn loan easily. If you let this stand, word of mouth is going to get out and spread down the grapevine that you ripped me off after being a loyal customer for over 10 years, particularly as this was my first large ticket item. This is not good business. I am an NRA lifetime member, a veteran, and a lifelong member of the Republican party.

LOOK AT THE PHOTOS AND READ FIRST BEFORE YOU BUY!!!
Bud's Gunshop is advertising an upgraded model to what they "actually send out". So I purchased this gun from them and they sent out a cheaper version instead.
I noticed the flip up adjustable sites were missing when I went to pick up the firearm from the ffl.
I called customer service before I left the shop and was told they would give me a credit to fix the situation if the manufacturer didn't fix it first.
Once I got home I noticed it was not only missing the flip up sites it was also missing the ATI Sr-1 buttstock and rubber overmolded grip.
I called to try and fix the issue and they informed me I would need to spend a $25 ("restocking fee") to return the gun for a refund.
So even though they messed up and sent out a gun, which I've found elsewhere for $329, that is not the correct gun I purchased ...they want me to pay to restock it.
They have horrible customer service and I will never buy here again. I've purchased several firearms online and have bought from them before and have never had this problem before.
BUYER BEWARE!!!
