it sounded like a direct withdraw from your checking account would be faster, but they tie your money up without the gun being shipped, for an extra week. then if you cancel, they still take the money out of your account then write a refund check and mail it back to you. I should have bought this same gun for the same price from Gunbroker.com and saved 2 weeks time.

Ordered an SW MP 15 for $686 on friday the 9/20/19 .Today 9/23/19 I received an email saying there was a problem with my order. I called Buds and was told that there was an "error" on the price and now I have to pay 1000 for the firearm....... I spoke to a couple of people and basically was told to get bent.Buds guns shop will never have my business.

Ordered a Bushmaster Patrolman. Stock status confirmed during order. Budd suggested E-Check for 3% savings. Three days later called to again confirm order and shipping status. Rep said E-Check had not cashed and they were "trying" to fill order. I asked for confirmation of availability. They would not confirm! Called my bank to find E-Check was presented! Buds lied and took order without stock to ship. I cancelled order. Buds now wants 10% restocking fee...... what restocking! I informed bank. Buds are thieves!

Placed an order for an in-stock item, paid, received confirmation of order receipt. 8 days later, item still had not shipped. Contacted customer service twice. No transparency- the operators can only tell you what you already see on your order page- apparently they see the same info you do.

I assume you sent Buds an actual copy of the FFL license, correct? Just giving them the name and phone does not work.

It is your job to get an actual "signed copy" of the FFL license and forward it to Buds. They keep a large list of FFLs on file from each time they sell in your area.

Just wondering why the confusion. I always just have my FFL fax or email them a copy.

Simply stated....Buds Gun Shop is MORE than reputable and I will proudly spread the word concerning their business practices. After 3 weapons purchased, all delivered in NEW condition and very timely, I can only suspect that some of those complaining are the type that are NEVER HAPPY with anything.

Very slow to ship when paying with electronic check, which is the only way you can get the lower cash price. The funds are taken from your bank account, and then you have to wait an additional five "business" days to even begin the shipping process.

Wish I had seen this earlier. I placed my order with Bud's on the 12th of this month using the e-check option so that I could get the cash price.

Funds cleared my bank on the 13th, and the status report at Bud's still shows "e-check payment pending". In this day and age, such a policy is simply ridiculous and unacceptable -- Amazon can process a debit card transaction instantly and have merchandise delivered the following day. I don't expect Bud's to be another Amazon, but seriously?

It's now Day 7 since I ordered, and my gun hasn't shipped yet. This is just like being back in Kalifornistan and having to wait the mandated 10 days to pick up a purchase.

I have been a customer of Buds for many years and have spent thousands of hard earned dollars. My purchase practice has always been payment in full with a certified bank check usually sent via USPS 2 day service. I live in Minnesota so I've never seen it take more than two days from my hand to Buds. The last three major purchase (firearms) have taken for ever to complete their processing stage of shipping seems to be common on their part. I'm not sure what's going on. I believe it's one of three things that is causing this issue. 1. Buds is treating a certified bank check like a personal check which is not. 2. Their claim of in stock is not true and orders are placed with their supplier once they receive an order. Or they are simply under staffed with the amount of orders being placed. Calling their customer service now seems to be a waste of time all you hear is I don't have that information and it can take up to seven business days to ship. We don't know where the shipping process is at this time. I'm a business owner and have been for many years. My company processes and ships many orders daily and with a push of a button any of us know all the information regarding a shipment. My current order payment was received six days ago and still seeing "in process". I'm not so sure I'll continue doing business with Buds, yes their pricing is attractive but their business practices are not. I also deal with a couple of local firearms dealers which have told me they would match Buds pricing and I believe that's way I'll go from now on. Yes if a local dealer doesn't have it stock there will be a wait for them to order. But it seems I'm doing that with Buds anyway. To bad Buds once was great to deal with.

Bud’s double charged my checking account for a final payment. I notified them via email and was asked to call them. But all I get is a message that lines are busy and to call back at a later time. Don’t know what their problem is; they should just give me back the money they stole and complete my order. I’ll never trust them with cash again, and quite frankly, their credit card prices aren’t all that great.

Try speaking to them in English, maybe they don’t understand your language. I have purchased over a dozen weapons from this site with no issues whatsoever. The ATF will think you are a nut job.

Who would pay 3% more to pay via cash ? Yep they advertise a price that is lower then others but don't actually want you to pay that price but instead pay the full credit card price when paying cash. First as a VIP Buds member , that means nothing to them so don't join that program - it is no different then just a regular membership in being mistreated and scammed equally. I have had a lot of bad things from them shipping the wrong items and then pretending they didn't know anything about it , to trying to send a display model as new. This last time I paid via Cash / ACH and they tried to then charge the 3% credit card price on a Cash sale. Why would anyone pay cash to be charged 3% more ? Avoid them there are a lot of great places and this is not one of them. Their own people couldn't even find the wording on the site that said that mentioned this policy and escalated it 3 times until MAGICALLY 2 words get added after a long delay that still don't make sense.
